The 3 months break is almost over. School is about to begin again. Hope to be able to get the schedule of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Really keeping my fingers crossed. Hoped that the modules that I am going to pick are not gonna become killer modules, and pull down my CAP. Pondering on whether I should go for the NUS Chinese Society Freshie Camp. $72 work day or the chance to meet new friends? Which should I choose?
Work is the same. It is still the same routine of scanning the newspapers and the Internet for news and comments related to the corporation. However, the highlight of each day is gossiping with the aunties and not-so-old aunties. Also, the choice of where to have lunch is a hard choice daily as well.
Now for an update on Manga:
1) One Piece
Portgas D. Ace is actually the son of the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Either, this would be the best plot twist in the manga so far, or it would bite the writer in the ass later. Monkey D. Luffy has escaped from Impel Down, with the sacrifice of Okama, Mr. 2 Bon Clay. Mr. 2 Bon Clay is really someone you want to have around, even though he is an Okama, since if he consider you a friend or Nakama, he would do anything for your sake. Hope that he survive his encounter with Magellan.
Blackbeard has survived the Hydra technique of Magellan (Surprise, Surprise) and has recruited the Ex-Chief Warden of Impel Down, Shiryuu of the Rain, to be part of his crew. Wonder what is Blackbeard's aim in Impel Down? Well, I would assume that we would know it through the mini-arcs.
Buggy the Clown and his "insane" quest to kill Whitebeard during the chaos. Jinbei, Sir Crocodile, Mr. 1 Daz Bones, Mr 3. Galdino, Monkey D. Luffy, Emperio Ivankov, Inazama are currently approaching the Gates of Justice towards Marineford, with only 3 more hours to go, before the public execution of Portgas D. Ace. Will they make it?
2) Bleach
The Vizards are finally making their moves, and showing why they are so kick-ass amazing. Shinji Hirako stating that they are not on anyone's side, but are just allies of Ichigo Kurosaki. Hitsugaya Toshiro and Soi Fon just gaping when they saw the awesomeness of the Vizards. Well, let's just hope that the action would get more intense in the next few weeks.
3) Naruto
The five Kages are meeting up. Danzo becoming the 6th Hokage, and having the Sharingan as well. What else is new? Well, hope for more screen time of Gaara.
4) Shaman King
In the end, everyone is revived and survived the encounter with Asakura Hao. Everyone appearing within the Great Spirit was just plain awesome, especially with their comments towards Asakura Hao. Lady Sati's comments to Hao was just plain amazing.
The author has moved towards highlighting the adventures of the son of Asakura Yoh and Anna, with the slight intervention of Asakura Hao, who is still the Shaman King. Interesting...
Oh yeah, It is still hard for me to believe that Tao Ren and Iron Maiden Jeanne got married and had a son, and that son inherited both their Oversoul abilities. Weird how love works.
5)Kekkaishi
Yoshimori Sumimura finally showing off the results of his "blank state" training. Well, it is technically just removing the "impurities" within his own power, or just him in his full potential. It looks like the invaders of Karasumori stands no chance now...
6) Kindaichi Shonan no Jikenbo
One of the victims is really the killer. Woah. And he claims to love the original victim. Yeah right. If he love her so much, why didn't he look for her, during the whole month that she was held captive by that two bastards?
7) Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas
The troops of Athena has finally began their invasion of the Lost Canvas. Sagittarius Sisyphus is just plain awesome. He can survive having his heart removed from his body, and still perform the move of Athena's Exclamation with 2 other Gold Saints...His determination to serve Athena is really awe-inspiring. Libra Dohko did not died in Hades Cathedral, and the Demon of Kanon Island is actually the Gemini Saint. Armed with the blood of the previous incarnation of Athena, Libra Dohko is heading towards the statue of Athena at the Sanctuary to revive the God Cloth of Athena. The Manga is really moving towards its conclusion.
8) Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
The CHOICE fight is reaching its conclusion. Would Irie hold up till Yamamoto destroys Daisy the target? Will Tsuna reach Irie in time, before Irie is killed by Kikyo? Everything hangs in the balance...
9) Fairy Tale
Nirvana has been released. Gerard has been revived. Lucy is facing another Stellar Mage. The fight between good and evil has just become more and more interesting.
10) Detective Conan
Same old, same old stupid stories. Cosplay murders, suicidal grandpas, and sports-related murder.
11) Tsubasa Reservior Chronicles and Xxxholic
Woah, there are actually three different versions of Sakura and Syaoran. The clone Syaoran and the clone Sakura is actually the real parents of the real Syaoran. So what is the connection to the Cardcaptor Sakura's Sakura? Can the manga writers, please stop taking long breaks between stories?
12) Zatch Bell
The fight between Zatch and Zeon is getting interesting. So many Mamodo has sacrificed themselves for Zatch. He better not let them down...
Well, that is all the updates of manga for today.
Have been obsessed with 2 words spoken by a certain someone. Note, those 2 words were not directed at me, but to someone else. To me, the 2 words are the epitome of the strong bond of their relationship with each other. Well, I kinda knew that it was so strong, what with their actions and all, and frankly, I am fine with it. So, why do I feel so emotional when that certain someone spoke those 2 words? Why am I so petty? I seriously need to grow up. A fool that is what I am, for wishing those 2 words to be directed at me. Hope to get out of this phase. I seriously need to get this bullcrap out of my system. Wish to scream. Wish to numb myself. SERIOUSLY NEED TO OCCUPIED. Trying to numb myself with nonsence.
