Change is discomforting...especially when the change is bad. Hope everything maintains its status quo.
Chinese New Year was quite a rush and a whirlwind of activities, what with cleaning up my room (What room? It's just a freaking living room!) Packing my stuff (Books, Comics, Games, Manga and miscellanous stuff...) was seriously tiring. Didnt' imagine that I would have so much stuff to pack.
New Year Eve was special, as there was sushi and pizza. This was done to lighten the workload of my Mum, and also the fact that we were all sick and tired of the traditional steamboat. 1st day of New Year was boring, as no visiting was done.
2nd Day of New Year was much better, as visited my Maternal Grandmother's house, and the house of my Paternal Great-Grandmother's adopted daughter's house. Largest amount of angpao came from the latter source. Hope to go back there next year...
Third day of New Year went to the temple to pray to my Great-Grandmother, was quite poignant, especially considering that I was there to see her slowly wasted away...
Need more excitement, need more fun, need to keep my big mouth shut...
Signing off...
