After 2 long years (2 years and 1 week to be exact), the NSF phase of my life is finally complete. To be out of the Army is a liberating experience. Although my department is good, but to be honest, being in the Army and as one of the lowest ranking personnel, seeing all the shit and "darkness", office politics and the numerous sai kangs (although some are quite enjoyable), is something that I would rather not know about...
Really grateful to all the officers/DXOs/fellow NSFs who made my NSF life enjoyable, will miss all the constant bitching and gossiping, and the hard work we put in during the various "code red" phases of our NSF life.
After my last day of service, met up with shaun and dino, where we hang out around the town area before we met up with the rest. Will always remember the scene where dino swing shaun's bubble tea till the whole cup spilled out...Extremely humourous...
For dinner, we went to brewerks. Had special curry for dinner, it was very "special" indeed. Let just say it is almost like a dry-up version of curry with a tinge of bitterness with it. My stomach became a bit queasy after that, so could not fulfil my duty of finishing my share of the tower. Sorry guys. Played a round of citadel during dinner. Quite a fun game, but one that requires a bit of brainpower, so best not to play it after a few rounds of drinking. After dinner, the gals wanna take some pictures, but we, who were a bit high, disturbed their attempts...Haha, quite fun actually...
Oh well, freedom takes some getting used to, but it should be okie. I mean, the shackles and chains are off already, so how hard can it be...
c ya folks...
