Times passes quite fast. It is now already November. 1 more month to December, then it is good-bye 07. Hello, 2008, and 19 more days to ORD.
Although I am now officially upgraded to PES B, and that means that I would have to report for Reservists, but I am just glad to finish this phase of my life, and get on with my studies, and my life.
Got a temp excuse from IPPT for 6 months, this means that I do not need to do the mandatory IPPT test by the end of December. Considering that my fitness levels is terrible, plus the fact that my in-soles are causing me "grief" and distress after just 4-5 rounds of running around the track, plus the timing for these 4-5 rounds, is approximately 12 minutes plus, it would really take a miracle for me to pass my IPPT by the end of December. So this is indeed a blessing in disguise...
Life in the office is still routine and mundane, with the same irritants and pests, so nothing really much to complain about, ya, except that I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my understudy, so that I would not be so bogged down with work, especially on Mons and Fris.
Hooked on manga lately, thanks to Su Sian who introduced me to www.onemanga.com, a good source for the latest manga, albeit it is all in English. But oh well, beggars cannot be choosers, right. At least, I would be kept up-to-date on my favorite mangas, One Piece, Bleach, Naruto and Inuyasha.
The world seems to be moving towards doomsday. Indonesia seems to be fraught with disasters. Floods, earthquakes almost everyday. Volcanoes going to erupt soon, especially Mt Kelud, Mt Soputan.
Pakistan facing military leadership, opposition leader nearly killed by a suicide bomber, and now under emergency rule...
Myanmar under military rule, peaceful protests by monks brutally suppressed by militants, and now reports that the military is drafting young children to become soldiers...
Food shortages, prices of food, especially wheat products going up...
Well, a bit worried, but what can one person do against the world...Perhaps nothing, but maybe I am juz being pessismistic....
