Standards dropping...films, english. fun...

Went to watch Ghost Tunnel last Tuesday with jer and tonia. Was a very lousy film. Cheap scare, with typical sudden dropping of items accompanied by the typical scary music. Twist was not a twist at all. Slept through the middle of the film. Only good that come out of this is that it re-emphasis the simple "teaching" or "moral" that one should not anyhow pick up stuff you find on the floor, unless of course it is cold hard cash. :-)

On course on the 25-26. Open Office Impress Basic 2 at Tanjong Pagar. It is really a basic course, stuff that you would know how to do, even if it is the first time you are using Impress, well maybe, except for the instert spreadsheet and the text in the middle of picture part. Well, at least, can slack and not work like mad in the office.

Saw the New Year decorations in Chinatown. Admittedly, last year's decoration was much better. Come on, the pink cloths just look like female undies, and since it is the year of the pig, where the hell are all the pig decorations? Or do have have to be sensitive since pig is considered a "dirty" animal by the Muslims, and since we are surrounded by potentially hostile Muslim dominated countries, so we have to try our veryh utmost, so as to not offend them?

Went and met up with jer, tonia and shaun after my Open Office Course at Parkway. Watch them played pool b4 going to eat Pastamania, after which tonia suggested to go eat prata at Joo Chiat. Seriously, that girl eat a lot of crap but still maintain such a slim figure. I am amazed!

After the prata, went to talk cock, sing song at the ground floor of tonia's house. What a lame and lousy way to spend a wonderful night, rite. Perhaps should have gone some pub or something. Well, at least it's better than holing up at home, ya?

Oh well, enuf with the boring details, time to focus on the Impress course lecturer who has a extremely weird accent and who does not know well her topic. She is not a chio bu also. WTF!

Said enuf crap for today, c ya all next time. Zai Jian
