Incongruent Reality: Judge a Book By it's Cover

Went clubbing at DXO on Fri nite. Party organised by Audrey, my former classmate and project work teammate.

It was sort of like a mini-class reunion, cept that only a few of my classmates went.

The party was awesome and DXO was quite a fun and spacious space to party, when compared to Mdm Huang and Coco Latte. The only small flaw was that that the dance floor was too small, making dancing a practical impossibility. But in any case, i totally enjoyed myself there.

Went to the party way too early, and i mean WAY TOO EARLY, like 830 plus and the party only started like around 10 plus. So had no choice but to sit around and stone at the arcade at Marina Square and at the riverside.

While stoning at the river, i had e 'lucky' opportunity to listen to a phone conversation between a malay female and her enstanged boyfriend. The gist of that conversation was that the bf should not have broken up wif her during this period of time since she had a whole future ahead of her. While i sympathize wif her, but i could not help but think whether there is actually a gd time to break up. I mean, breaking up is a tormentful experience for both parties so technically there is never a gd time for this.

Oh well, met up wif jerold, weili, big and small dan, k. singh b4 going inside to the party. Had a few drinks, dance a while n basically juz stone in front of e tv, watching the 1st match of e World Cup, Germany vs Costa Rica.

Had to leave early though. jerold became sick and puked and since i m e only one who live closest to him, the enviable job of sending him home falls to me. Oh well, i m juz glad that he was quite docile when i send him home, no puking and trash talking, unlike another of my friend who got drunk when we went for e China trip and started talking about who he loves and watever crap.

All in all, fri was one of the most fun i had in a very long while, so i use this opportunity to thank Audrey for a wonderful party. And i sincerely sorry tat i did not bought e tix from u but a $2 discount is a $2 discount, and i need to save all the more as the SAF allowance is xtremely pathetic.
